Shramana Ghosh was a Postdoctoral Associate at the Mechatronics, Controls, and Robotics Laboratory in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at NYU Tandon School of Engineering. Her responsibilities included performing and supporting independent research in the area of assistive device development, and K-12 STEM education; and mentoring graduate and undergraduate students at the MCRL.
Prior to joining NYU Tandon School of Engineering, she obtained a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Irvine in December 2017 under the guidance of Prof. J Michael McCarthy and Prof. Nina Robson. Her research addressed methodologies for the design of linkage-based assistive devices using individual motion data. She received an MS in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University, College Station in May 2013.
