Air Modified Oxygen Delivery / Air Ventilating Environment with Negative Pressure Transport (AirMOD / AirVENT)

Testimonials

"The use of a single level or two level continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP or BiPAP) support in lieu of a ventilator could alleviate the need for ventilators for patients as "pre-ventilator" or "post-ventilator" support, as to provide some positive air (and oxygen) pressure support. The design is not a substitute for a ventilator for it lacks the workings of one - it's a rudimentary ventilator at best. However, it has the potential to help lend a hand in positive air pressure support especially when ventilators are scarce for early or late stage ventilatory needs. Safety measures have been addressed in terms of pressure release and one-way valves (pending). While not an FDA regulated device, its design of the reverse hair salon dryer hood as exhaust is ingenious."

"The device can be used to provide respiratory support to COVID-19 patients in hospital settings when stationary BiPAPs/ventilators are not available. This relatively inexpensive device can also be used temporarily in the following settings: nursing homes and urgent care centers, for emergency situations while the patient and medical staff await an Ambulance."
