Research Experiences for Teachers (RET) is a unique initiative funded by the Division of Engineering Education and Centers of the National Science Foundation which encourages and supports K-12 teachers and community college faculty to actively get involved in engineering research. The motivation behind this is to bring cutting edge science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) concepts into teachers classrooms, thereby stimulating the students to learn more about STEM disciplines.
